Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 a year

Join with dynamic team in a key role that places you at the forefront of aircraft maintenance. As a Licenced Aircraft Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintenance activities that take place at aircraft storage facility in Alice Springs.

Key Responsibilities:

Aircraft Maintenance & Induction:

  • Conduct in-depth narrow and wide-body aircraft induction, including engine/APU preservation.
  • Manage periodic maintenance checks, ensuring all aircraft meet stringent quality standards.
  • Oversee customer work requests, aircraft inspections, ADs, and ensure prompt responses

Aircraft Reactivation & Troubleshooting:

  • Lead aircraft reactivation processes, including engine de-preservation, gear retraction testing.
  • Involve in complex component changes, engine runs, and troubleshooting.
  • Utilize your technical expertise to identify and rectify defects promptly.

Collaboration & Customer Support:

  • Work closely with a tight-knit team of professionals focused on delivering maintenance excellence.
  • Engage directly with major airlines and leasing entities to provide exceptional customer support.
  • Act as a liaison between APAS and our international partners, representing our commitment to quality and service.

Compliance & Innovation:

  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant CASA, EASA, FAA, 2-REG, BCAA, and other NAA Part 145 maintenance approvals.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry innovations, incorporating them into APAS maintenance practices.
  • Contribute to APAS ongoing growth and success in the Asia-Pacific region through continuous improvement and embracing new technologies.

Requirements

This position is only open to Part 66 Licenced Engineers (particularly EASA Part 66) with Type Ratings

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge of major aircraft types.
  • Ability to demonstrate competence through a comprehensive work logbook.
  • Strong IT capabilities to utilize APAS cutting-edge maintenance platform.
  • Excellent team collaboration skills.
  • Creative problem-solving and ability to handle pressure in a dynamic environment.
Desirable Criteria:
  • Experience on specified aircraft engines.
  • Elevated work platform license.
  • Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate (AROC)
