When you have applied for a permanent partner visa, and you have a dependent child then your child can apply for a 445 visa. This visa allows a child to reside in Australia temporarily while the authority evaluates the parent’s partner visa application form.
The child must, be a dependent child of the visa-holding parent and be sponsored by the nominator or sponsor of the visa-holding parent.
With this visa, the child can move to or stay in Australia until we decide on their parent’s permanent partner visa application, travel to and from Australia, and work and study in Australia.
